How do I cancel my subscription?

If you would like to cancel your Command Box Share subscription, please click here and fill out the form provided for cancelling your subscription. You will be asked for your master customer admin username and password for security purposes, and then we will send an email to the email address on file with that account that includes a cancellation code and link to follow through in order to completely cancel the subscription. Once your current paid month ends, your card will not be charged again and your account will be removed. The account you use during cancellation must match the master account that was used to setup your subscription. No other accounts will be allowed to request a cancellation.

Users

Why do I get an error "The username "[username]" is already in use by another user." when trying to add a new user or change one's username?

The username you tried to use is already in use by another user of the site. Because Command Box Share shares its username database with all users of Command Box Share, sometimes common usernames may already be taken. We recommend that you use a naming convention such as your user's first and last name (i.e., "johnsmith") instead of their first names alone, for example. The naming convention you use is up to you.

Can I upload more than one file at a time?

Yes, you can! Simply click the Browse button as many times as you need to add as many files as you need. When you're ready to upload, click the Upload button and each of your files will be uploaded to your project, one after another.

Can I add user accounts to my projects?

Absolutely! As the admin of your account, you may add regular users and admin users through the Add User menu option on the left of your screen when logged in. Simply add a user, and then go to the project you'd like to add that user to. While viewing the project, click the Assign Users button, and assign as many of your users to that project as you wish.

Do I need to assign admins to my projects?

Not necessarily. By default, Share gives all of your admin accounts access to each of your projects without forcing you to assign each admin to each project -- a potentially time consuming task! However, if you want your admins to be notified by email when files are uploaded to any of your projects, then you should specifically assign that admin to the project(s) in question. This way, you can elect to have admins notified when files are added to projects that they are specifically interested in.

Why can't I overwrite a file in a project during the upload process? I tried to upload a file but I was told it was a "duplicate file"!

This is a security measure to ensure that your users are not unintentionally overwriting files someone else has already uploaded. If you do want to overwrite or update a file, simply delete it from the project view first, and then reupload the file.
